Hello again. Some time ago I posted an article with the same title (very similar at least) about considering switching from a DSLR to a CSC camera. I mentioned I would write more about Fuji X-E1 which I recently purchased. And here we are.
I’m going to jump straight into discussion about Fuji X-E1 (or Fuji X-System in general).
One of the main reasons for me to switch was the size and weight so CSC would suit me perfectly. One of the reasons why I chose Fuji X-System was because of the quality of the cameras (build quality) and the styling. And Fuji lenses are amazing!
When I was buying the camera, I chose X-E1 because I definitely wanted a camera with a viewfinder (so I dropped X-M1 and X-A1 straight away) and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a camera so I wasn’t going to buy X-Pro 1 or X-T1 (maybe in the near future 😉 ).
What I was also looking for in a camera was a camera that would be small and lightweight. SLR cameras are great but they’re just too big for me as I travel quite a lot.
And that’s what a mirrorless camera offers me. Even more, they have fantastic quality build and many of them have exactly the same sensors and SLR cameras (or even bigger ones as in case of Fuji X-cameras).
If you’re after a mirrorless camera I would highly recommend Fuji X-cameras, especially X-E1 (or X-E2 if you want to buy a new camera).
