June brought some updates to Adobe Creative Cloud applications and here are updates to Adobe Premiere Pro.
Not every application received update in this usual June release – there’s nothing new in After Effects, just some bug fixes – but there are some new features in this June update to Adobe Premiere Pro.
Adobe Stock inside Premiere Pro
Now, you can access content from Adobe Stock – music tracks, audio – and license it straight from Adobe Stock right inside Premiere Pro 2020. You can search, download and license content right inside the Essential Sound panel.
New File Formats Support inside Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro now supports importing:
- RED Komodo files
- Canon EOS 1D X Mark III files
- Canon EOS R5 files
- Enhanced controls for JPEG 2000 MXF Export
Here’s the list of all supported file formats.
Afterburner Support (Mac OS)
You can use Apple Afterburner card with Premiere Pro for decoding ProRes 422 and 4444 files.
Note: Afterburner support requires Metal Renderer (Project settings).
