Adobe showed a new feature coming to Adobe Premiere Pro – Auto Reframe:

Adobe haven’t said when this new feature is coming but apparently later this year (maybe in the next big release – CC 2020).

It looks like it’s going to make it much easier to create sequences with different aspect ratios and proportions, going from horizontal to vertical, and more.
