Adobe have announced a major update to Lightroom CC (cloud-based one).
New Lightroom CC now has Tone Curve and Split Toning.
Tone Curve and Split Toning (if you ever use it) are now available on Lightroom CC. Tone Curve is now available in the Lights panel, next to Auto button. You can choose between: Parametric Curve or Point Curve modes. You can also choose between Red, Green, and Blue channels.
There is also a new Auto Mode using Adobe’s Sensei technology.
In Adobe’s words:
Using an advanced neural network powered by Adobe Sensei, our artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning platform, the new Auto Settings creates a better photo by analyzing your photo and comparing to tens of thousands of professionally edited photos to create a beautiful, pleasing image.
This new Auto Mode will also appear in Lightroom on the Web and Lightroom Classic CC, it’s not just in Lightroom CC.
In some other new features, you can now also:
- Change capture time of multiple images in Lightroom CC
- There are some refinements to Color Range Masking tool in Lightroom CC and Lightroom Classic CC
- New cameras are supported, like Sony Alpha 7R III, Google Pixel 2, and more
Adobe Creative Cloud subscribers get access to all these features immediately.
