Canon has finally joined other camera manufacturers in creating mirrorless intercheagable cameras with its EOS M.
It is based around 18MP APS-C hybrid CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5 processor. Sensitivity ranges from ISO 100 to 12,800, extendable to 25,600.
It comes with a choice of two lenses:
- EF-M 18-55mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 IS STM standard zoom or
- EF-M 22mm ƒ/2.0 STM pancake.
Canon will also launch a new flash – 90EX Speedlite.
Canon EOS M should be ready for sale by October this year and it will cost around £770 with the standard zoom.
