If you are an existing Lightroom user, you have heard about badges.

Badges appear on the images’ thumbnails in the Library Module in Grid View or in the Filmstrip as well. How do you show or hide the badges? You will find it in the menu, when choosing View > View Options, and under Cell Icons you can check Thumbnail Badges (that’s for Grid view). As to the Filmstrip, navigate to the Preferences, and then Interface. In the Filmstrip options check Show Badges.
