Adobe Touch Apps Part 1

Adobe Touch AppsIf you have been looking for a place where you could find information about Adobe Touch Apps, you’re in the right place.

Adobe Touch Apps have been designed for your tablet (Android and iOS). There are six of them so far and I will present them in this post.

Note: All Touch Apps are available for Android, not all of them are available for iOS, at least not yet.

Touchscreen, found on tablets, change the way we work. With tablet, you almost always have it with you, so if you get inspired, you can now use one of the Adobe Touch Apps.

Here are Adobe Touch Apps:

Photoshop Touch

– with Photoshop Touch you can quickly edit images, add effects to them and combine them. You can use some of the core features from Photoshop, such as: layers, adjustments, selection tools, and filters;

– you can get images from your built camera from your tablet, as well as from online sources like Google Image search;

– share images via email or to Facebook

Adobe ProtoAdobe Proto

(available for both Android and iOS)

Adobe Proto– Proto lets you create interactive wireframes and prototypes of websites and mobile apps on your tablet. You can communicate and share ideas with teams and clients using a touch-based interface;

– you can build interactive wireframes using well-known CSS grid systems, or work freeform with a blank sheet;

– you can insert interactive wireframe components from the component toolbox, including menus, tabs, accordions, and more, to quickly capture your design idea.

(available for both Android and iOS)

Adobe Ideas– Ideas is the ideal touch app for your favorite Adobe Creative Suite software. Design almost anywhere using vectors, layers, and color themes, and then easily share for further refinement in Illustrator or Photoshop;

– you can use a stylus or your finger to draw strokes that appear smooth at any zoom level. (Stylus support available on certain Android™ devices only.);

– you can synchronise your artwork to Adobe Creative Cloud to easily access for further refinement using Illustrator CS5 or later;

– and you can work with separate drawing and photo layers, controlling the opacity of each.

This the first part with the first three Touch Apps. Later this week, I will share with you the other three Touch Apps.

Enjoy! 😉
