Adobe are making changes to their software and as they’re releasing new versions they keep updating support for operating systems (Windows and Mac specifically here).

As Adobe released a new suite of their Creative Cloud applications, there are some things you should be aware as your operating system is concerned.

New Adobe Creative Cloud applications are not available for older operating systems.

Adobe don’t support Windows 7 and Mac OS High Sierra 10.13 anymore. Any applications released from October 2020 onwards are not available for these older operating systems as they are not supported.

This means that you won’t be able to install CC 2021 applications on these older operating systems as they are not supported. Your last version which you can install will be CC 2020, which was released end of 2019.

Adobe are also working on a version of Photoshop for Apple Silicon.
