Adobe have announced the end of life for Flash plug-in.

Adobe are going to stop supporting and the distribution of Flash by 2020.

Some websites are still using Flash but the future belongs to HTML5. Adobe dropped Flash as an application last year and Flash became Animate CC, clearly stating what it can do and that the future belongs to HTML5 and not Flash.

Microsoft is apparently planning to stop Flash content displaying in Edge browser by default, something Firefox and Chrome have been doing for some time already (user needs to click to activate Flash content in these browsers).
