With each new release of Creative Suite 6 Adobe posts requirements for running Creative Suite applications and I have been posting about it in the past as well. I have been posting about the requirements for Adobe Photoshop CS5 when it came out two years ago.
Now it is time for Creative Suite 6 and I have a slightly approach this time.

I’ve found some interesting information from Adobe on recommendations for hardware and software and I thought it would be a great idea to share it with you here.
Often creative professionals would upgrade their hardware at the same time as they upgrade the software. So here are a few bits from Adobe for hardware and software recommendations for CS6:
CS6 doesn’t run on Mac computers with Power PC processors.
You will get the best experience with CS6 on Windows 7 or Mac OS 10.7 (I’ve noticed a massive improvement even in CS5 between Windows XP and Vista/7).
CS6 applications like Photoshop CS6 or Premiere Pro CS6 are 64-bit applications, so you can use as much RAM as you can put into your machine. 4GB of RAM would be good for usual tasks, for video you will need more to get best performance.
These are just a few examples of recommendations from Adobe.
Enjoy! 😉
