Canary Islands are beautiful islands just off the northwest African coast. The Canaries, as they’re often called, are the outermost region of Spain and European Union.

We spend a week in the Canaries, on the Lanzarote island, over the Christmas time. We chose Lanzarote as it is more secluded than Gran Canaria.
