Lexar Professional UDMA Dual Slot Card Reader

I ran a series of tests on the Lexar card reader and an ordinary card reader that I used in the past to see how much faster is Lexar. I assumed it would be faster but wasn’t sure how much faster. I was shocked by the results!

First, I ran a test on copying a series of Raw images (242MB). It took 4:16 min on ordinary card reader and 0:09 min(!) on Lexar!

Then, I tested copying videos (0.5GB). It took 8:25 min on ordinary card reader and 0:19 min(!) on Lexar! Huge difference! I wasn’t expecting such a big difference in performance. Lexar is a definite winner and it was a great purchase, a worthy investment.
